Hello former classmates,

Roger Bolser here, a fellow classmate of the first graduating class of Cleveland Central Catholic High School, in 1970. I do hope all is well with all of you who made it to this basic web page.

The reason for this page is to see if anyone from this graduating class would be open to a place to catch up, find information on other classmates, post pictures, chat in a forum, or any other ideas you may have. It's the start of what could become a full-blown website. I realize we have classmates.com, but they do charge a fee to use their site, and I don't see a lot of activity within our class year. Plus, it's not so easy to navigate, they are set up for every class in the world and they have tons of advertising. There is also a Facebook Page, but that doesn't seem to be too active either. I'm looking at a site that is free, easy to navigate, and will evolve with ideas from the class. I could provide each classmate with their own ccchs1970.com e-mail address. And, it will pertain only to the 1970 class. So, whatcha think?

Please send me an e-mail at roger@ccchs1970.com and let me know your thoughts. If you want to provide me with some of your information ... maiden and married names, e-mail address, home address, phone number ... I'll be happy to start posting this on this site (or any piece of this info you allow). If this site takes off, we'll most likely have a private area so only classmates can view other classmate's info. Or maybe the whole site will be private. Of course that would be up to you.

I found a few e-mail addresses to hopefully get this started. But I'm pretty much depending on "viral marketing" ... each of you tell 2 classmates, then they tell 2 classmates, and so on and so on. Before you know it the whole graduating class will be meeting here (one can dream, can't he). Please pass this site address (www.ccchs1970.com) along to other classmates if you can, and check back often. I'll post whatever I learn and keep all visitors to this starting page notified of any news.

Thanks for visiting and I look forward to hearing from EVERYONE FROM THIS GRADUATING CLASS.

Sincerely and may God bless all of you,
Roger

P.S.  I wanted to post a picture of me, from 1970, so you could see (and hopefuly remember) who I am. I have been searching for my yearbook, or at least an old picture, but alas no luck. I'll keep searching. Now, if any of you can send along a yearbook from 1970, that would be great! Or if you are so inclined, have your copy scanned and turned into a PDF file so I can post it here for all other unlucky souls (such as myself) who lost their copy.
